no i dont have a vacuum pipe. but the switch was from the brake pedal, kind of push and then twist to lock it in. I notice the one thats for sale has a longer plunger into the switch where as mine is a shorter plunger, wonder if its got jamed inside as teh switch for the cruse...

I did not see a vacuum pipe going to the switch, its a 99 4.6 thor, ill go and take a look and put a picture up on here as soon as ive got the cover off.

I have a mate who's sunroof wont auto stop between tilt and close or the other way round. what system stops the sunroof in the closed position as this one overuns every time and he has to get it just right then let go of the button, anyone had this fault and sorted it please. :)

When you enter the EKA code did you notice if the headlight warning light came on in the middle of the dash (green warning light) each time you turned the key for the EKA code? What brought the symptoms on? flat battery...low battery due to short runs? water ingress due to weather? etc. etc..

i have checked the faultmate on my cruse control and the fault is the brake/clutch switch on the brake pedal, i removed the switch and checked its three pins, the outer 2 work the brake lights but the middle one dose not seem to do any thing, it dose show a small reading when the switch is...

Rick is on the right track, I've disabled many immobilisers and they have still locked out again, mostly due to a battery change or a loss of battery voltage, as a pc has a back up battery a Becm dose not, so... looses its settings in no decided order, if the Eka is turned off this only stops...

Did you dissable the immobiliser? then try starting the engine, ive seen engines with the ems code correct on both and still wont fire, then what do i know...:p

As is immobilisation... turning the fuel off to the rail. and mostly after a flat battery :)
