    hello can anyone help

Sound like the the handbrake to me, what gear are you trying this in. I pulled out a 3 ton fork truck that was stuck the other day, I was in low first, didn't realise until after that the handbrake was still on. If you're in low range it's quite easy to overcome the handbrake. When you had...

    Strange Hazard's Problem

I've got plenty of spare relays and thought of swapping them about as the first point of call, just thought i'd see if anyone had a "fix" for it before I started. Cheers Jon.

    Strange Hazard's Problem

Got a bit of a strange problem so thought i'd ask if anyone else has experianced it before I start taking things in apart. If I hat a pot hole or something hard (enough to make a bang) all my indicators flash (hazards) and won't switch off, the green direction lamp is flashing on the dash but...

    Google Earth

I've just found a great new use for google earth, checking out green lanes. Last sunday I was out in the Cotswolds and I couldn't tell which track was the right of way (from the ground), the OS 1:25k wasn't quite clear enough. So I just had an idea and looked on google earth, and there it was...

    rear lights

If you replace the lamp units the wiring is already there so everything should work fine. If you just want get the tail lights on see the link below, you'll already have twin fillament (stop/tail) bulbs fitted !!! http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/rear-lights-38310.html Hope that helps...

    insurance - retards

Shouldn't need to, as not all Disco's had EGR fitted. As far as I am aware, if an accessory or mod was available as an optional extra when the car was purchased then it would be covered by your insurance (as long as the parts are genuine). For instance, I havn't informed them of my bull bar...

    The Beasts and Weird Ones

I eventually got round to watching that last night, good film. Couldn't help but think that London looks just the same as it does now... As for the vehicles, I didn't recognise the lightweights at the time but they do look the part. The Fiat Multipla and the Renault Avantime where hard to...

    insurance - retards

Yeah they seem a tad on extortionate side, £2815.58 and that wouldn't cover me for business use either. I'll bet I could insure a bloody fararri for less than that! Anyway, sorted the insurance out with the mods on mine, they dont have a box to tick for snorkel, so they entered it as...

    insurance - retards

Thought i'd better tell them, well at least the obvious stuff anyway, seeing as they'll do anything to try and wriggle out of a claim. A few years ago I had a car stolen from outside the house, got it back with no damage but the locks needed replacing. The insurance tried to wriggle out of...

    insurance - retards

Well I called my insurance the other day to tell them that i'd fitted a snorkel and a tank guard. Well it took ages to try and explain to them what a snorkel / raised air intake is and does, but after a while I think we got there, so he says i'll have to speak to someone else about this...

    Snorkel

Got my snorkel connected up at last, it's been fitted for a few weeks now but i've been working out how best to do the air box. I fitted a 200tdi mantec snorkel to my 300tdi because I wanted to fit a second battery later, this meant that it was difficult to use the 300tdi square air box so got...

    OS Maps

Sorry that should have said Shareaza, it's my dodgy spelling. Shareaza - Bringing P2P Together It's only any good if you've got broadband and can leave your pooter on overnight, for a few days. When you set it up be carefull what files you share on your computer. Jon.

    EGR Valve success

    OS Maps

I use Shareara, got the whole of the uk 1:50 and nearly all of the 1:25 ones as well, hasn't cost me a penny. Only downside is the maps are not the most recent editions (most are 2003), but the roads are still in same places! Affraid i'm got going to offer to copy them all for anyone as there...

Disproportionate increase to road tax on 4x4 vehicles.

I used to drive an Espace before i got the Disco. In some respects they are a more practical vehicle, like if you want seven seats they are alot more comfortable that the Disco, they also do have quite a good load carrying capacity and I actually think there is more room inside, and the espace...
