just plugged in the Nanocom - accel 1 is at 0.673 at idle and accel 2 is about 4.366 so adding up to just over 5 - same ratio as I accelerate, always just over 5

is it straightforward to save the data when driving? Never done that!

I can clear the fault but haven't yet. Plus I did change the bleed valve. Could this pedal issue be what the problem is? Car runs perfectly when pottering around, just hard accelerating is the problem?

Me again. Soooooo, replaced the waste gate valve and all three vacuum pipes off it and replaced the MAF. Went for a run up the motorway and as I hit 70 the car spluttered, juddered and then went into limp home mode and the engine light came on. Stopped, restarted car and made my way but new...

thank you - plan to replace all three of them, plus the MAF...

I oiled the actuator rod as above but driving down the motorway just now a few times when accelerating hard at 70 the car almost lurched or kangarooed before carrying on. Plan to replace waste gate modulator valve tomorrow - is this a likely cause of the problem?

Recommended by chap at Dingocroft when I was purchasing a new fuel filter to try to remedy my slightly misfiring Disco after injector harness replacement. Told me it might be worth cleaning/replacing so I bought a new one. I think there are four pipes coming off the top of the fuel filter...

Have been recommended to change this - is it straitghtforward. Assume it is the pipe towards the rear and nearest the wheel. Unscrew one end and carefully pull out the other? Many thanks!

many thanks all - just removed the ECU to find the red plug covered in oil etc, so will be replacing the injector harness tomorrow! Assume its fiddly but not beyond the wit of man to DIY.

Stupid question - which diagnostics am I looking for?!

I'll have a look. Have got a Nanocom and plugged it in yesterday but frankly have no idea about diagnostics - just use it to check for faults. Did change the injector harness a couple of years ago - can they cause trouble that soon?

my 2003 D2 has started to splutter now and again - seems to be running just fine then I'll get a splutter and then it's fine again. Not all the time - did it just now as I was accelerating at about 40mph and then again at 60. Any ideas?
