    Thanks for the reply. I was being a complete moron:( Looked inside and saw a tiny hex, thought it was about 1mm. On actually looking with my eyes:rolleyes: it's a lot bigger, 3mm to be exact Ah well, all complete now and da rangie lifts like it should:bounce: Happy days

    David_cooper: Don't get me wrong, i'm happy it passed. I suppose the point i was making is that it's fine for us who know our vehicles. I know the steering box is slightly out, needs replacing at some point, not dangerous, but the fact they didn't road test it or pick up on things they should...

    Might be worth jacking up and checking wheel bearings also. Had this fault when one of my front wheel bearings was failing.

    just took pipe off top of engine from air filter to get access to thermostat. On drivers side of engine where this pipe goes to, i presume that's to turbo, it seemed very loose where it goes under manifold, how is it connected under there? this could be the issue but can't see anything right now:(

    Anybody able to throw some light on this. Drove truck home today, no prob with kickdown or power, turbo working great. changed thermostat and she heated up ok, took for a spin, no power, no turbo, no kickdown...:mad::mad::mad: when i put my foot to floor sounds like air under pressure escaping...

    Well, managed to get the hub nut off and beat the sensor out. Replaced the half shaft oil seal and cleaned up the hub. I know it's not much for most of you out there but this is the first vehicle i've owned that i've done all my own work so chuffed at the result. Reset bloody ABS and Traction...

    Tried to replace front left ABS sensor over the weekend:confused: Rave says "Using a suitable lever, prise sensor from bush" BALLOX Tried to take stake nut off, to get hub off to get better access, nearly rounded it so have ordered a replacement for when i need to chisel it out... Broke top off...

    P38 battery discharge

    Hey Mike, just on the gearbox cooler issue. Easy to replace, just make sure you do both pipes with cooler as the threads will probably strip on removal!!! Only a couple of nuts to take off, bit fiddly getting the new pipes in... might as well do the gearbox filter while you have the oil drained...

    As Datatek said - check all yellow connections are back in securely. Had this issue after removing seats, cable got stuck when seat moved back and pulled plug slightly, drove me round the bend!!!:crazy:

    Note for Datatek on Dell 2600 Dell Inspiron 2600 Memory Maximum Memory 512MB Memory Slots 2 (2 banks of 1) non-removable base memory 0MB dells seem to hide 1 of the memory modules under the keyboard most of the time. You should be able to change both for 256MB giving you 512MB :)
