thank you sooo much for the reading material.. ive had plenty other material and sites.. but nothing as direct and detailed as this one. after we have shortened the rod and did the rest, the mechanic could only see 0.8 boost on the guage.. i will inspect after work if the plastic pipe isnt...

hmm weve adjusted the pump and the star screw and the rod length. havnt touched this 13mm bolt.. is it the one thy say is tack welded? i dont have to open the pump for this hey? if its on the outside it sould be easy to do. does a bigger intercooler make a difference ontop of these mods...

i drive a 200tdi, and the revs are very high on the motorway. is the difference between 3rd and 4th gear also better on the disco box? in hilly areas i struggle my ass off keepin it in 4th, have to gear down all the time. is an overdrive a possible sollution to this? not sure if id b able...

Hi all I'm toying with the idea of getting the ratios changed in my Defender's transfer box to improve cruising. Basically this mod changes the 1.410 gears to 1.222 gears, resulting in the high range gearing increasing by 15%. Has anyone done this mod? If so, what are the pros & cons...

nope unf not, the filler is on the other side of the car, when stadning behind the car the fille ris on the right, and the fuel sender is on the left, in the middle of the tank. will have to take the tank out again and take sender out .. not sure what to do in order to seal the bugger... then...

hey guys, i have a concern, i have "sealed" the fuel guage sender unit with gasket sealant between the tank-oring then on oring and sender unit. thing looks bulletproof. but f@k its still leaking, refitted everything last night and replaced the fuel filler hose pipe between the rear fender...

hey there, ok it was a piece of p1ss taking the guage out.. after i had taken the tank off the car. hmm, with the statement above? no fuel around the guage? where does ur guage fit onto ur car? i hope its inside the fuel tank ;-) where the thing mounts onto and inside the tank it was leaking...
