I did that when I had the whole rear assembly off the vehicle to change the filter. Didn't flush it through though....

I've already done the new wiring myself, straight back into the ECU plugs. Why on earth would you splice it back into existing loom if the existing loom is know to be faulty? LMAO

Depending what the garage says, I am sorely tempted to try replacing the fuel pressure sensor and disconenct the Synergy and MAF. Then see how it behaves for a few days! Bit of a shame the Synergy units dont come with an LED to indicate status.

Thanks for the comments John. :) You had a problem with the Synergy unit wire that went into the fuel pressure sensor, or the original wire that now goes into the Synergy plug? Just trying to get clarification. Was it a dodgy connection, damaged plug, dirt etc?

What happens to any air in the system? I'm chasing my tail now, trying to get my head around all the different systems. It's back in the garage tomorrow, will see what they can get from the ecu-hopefully some error codes.

After leaving it on charge for a while I got it started with some fast start. With engine running it shows 14.2v, so alternator seems ok. Will reserve judgment on battery until sort out starting and cutting out problems!
