Afternoon guys, did my chassis swap over xmas, is all looking sexy but I got quite a bit of vibration that weren't there before, mainly where sealant and stuff perished and I haven't replaced it as I don't want moisture trapped! I do remember these big chunks of foam inbetween the inner wing...

Just a quick update on this, spoke to the guys, they do sell them seperate, they are 20 quid plus vat a side.

yeah but it says that it comes with the galvanised corner trim and fixings, if you look at their side exit exhausts the pic shows the galvanised piece i'm after.

ok scratch that, it is available as a kit....a very expensive kit that includes the rear tubular bumpers, am hopefully going to be able to get them seperate but we'll see!

Afternoon all! Nearly finished my chassis swap! Woop woop, have hit a slight set back though with the steering system, just infront of the PAS box there is a diagonal cast arm that bolts to the outside of the chassis main rail top and bottom through some tubes welded to the chassis...I think...

Morning guys, maaaaaan that was an interesting hour lifting my 200! Picked up the hoist in the morning from HSS, didn't look bad, set it up, worked out where to put rope and strap (ended up using a really hardcore lorry ratchet strap so we had a bit of adjustment) and then went to lift...

Cheers Keymeister, Yeah I think there is quite a bit more to keep it all from twisting/slipping...etc. Hope your 200tdi was ok after the drop, I know you said it bent a few bits but still! They are supposed to be pretty solid though!

Ah I see, so balancing it isn't the issue, its the fact that its actual upright position is totally un-natural, I'll try and sort out a point either side of the block where I can fix it from rotating, think I might strop it like I originally said, take up the slack and then loop a rope around it...
