What you got planned for your Landy this weekend

Fit a rear anti roll bar, and search for a rocker gasket leak. Was going to fit new rear calipers but jumped the gun and did it last night

    Fuel Pressure regulator fault

Thanks for that, iv had a read of those and from what people are saying it looks more like the gasket could be the problem, time for another good clean up and look around the seal

    Fuel Pressure regulator fault

Yea iv recently replaced the oil aswell, I'm keeping a close eye on it and there's no noticeable drop. When I cleaned it all up it was from that area but couldn't pin point it, from what I can tell I think it's more likely to be oil than fuel. Was your solution just to replace the gasket and...

    Fuel Pressure regulator fault

Good evening all, I definitely have a leak coming from the rear right of the engine around the area of the fpr. Iv had a good look through other posts and although im pretty sure the fpr is the problem, the leak itself that runs down to the front axel drain plug is more like oil than...

    Rear tow hitch

Right il have a look, yea I kkust want a strong recovery point that isn't going to get ripped off if it's needed, or damage the chassis. Cheers for that

    Rear tow hitch

Ah spot on! The receiver you have there is slightly different to what iv been looking at, I'm thinking that this one will bolt to the x member with the top 4 holes and the bottom two to the legs going to the chassis, then I can use that as my main recovery point, think that will be sturdy...

    Rear tow hitch

Evening all, I'm looking in to putting some basic recovery equipment on to my td5 defender and was advised that a 2" receiver would make a better edition than jate rings at the rear. I have an adjustable tow bar attached wich hangs vey low and am taking it off as it catches the floor on...

    Recovery set up

    Recovery set up

Brilliant, thanks for that, again there's loads of different suggestions but what rope/ropes would you recommend? il have to google the 2" receiver as I don't think iv come across one yet

    Recovery set up

Afternoon all, After searching for the best recovery set up on here and across other sites iv found opinion varies massively! My TD5 110 still has its lashing rings, and im looking to put together a decent recovery set. Id rather get good kit now than have to replace it. Jate...

    Gear box and axel washers

Yea I read that bud didn't realise that meant no washers, it's the R380 gearbox which I believe is the newer one

    Gear box and axel washers

It's a 2002 TD5, hopefully that will be it then, as I say there were none on it when I removed the plugs, but there was a copper washer on the engine drain plug. Probably why the ones I ordered were the wrong size too. Cheers for that mate, little peace of mind!
