Series 3 The majic pixies are at it again.

Ok so the problem is driver side indicators are all screwed up when switched on the light on the dash comes on and stays on solid (nay blinking) the front indicator comes on and stays on solid. The rear indicator dose diddly squat and dosent come on at all. Me thinks there may be a problem with...

    Series 3 Gearbox problems

R right that was what I was afraid of. I'm going to have to find a cheaper solution. Would an lt77 box from a defender fit in a series 3 88 with an adptor to fit the series transfer case.

The stick will move into the second gear position but no drive.

    Series 3 Gearbox problems

right so my series gearbox won't select or drive in second gear. The other gears all work fine so I'm a little stumped as to what the problem is. I'm praying that the second gear cog hasn't stripped as a recon box is going to cost me nearly £1000 ounce I have factored in shipping and I ain't got...

Ground up re build of a 300tdi 110 CSW, HELP!

Stainless steel bolts are also further away from aluminium on the bi metallic corrosion table thing (can't remember the exact name high school chemistry was a while ago) so they actually corrode your aluminium panels faster than steel bolts. Looks like you have a good start, good luck.

    I may be going nuts

Wolfs was the original choice and probably the one I will go with. Though the mind likes to get ideas to big for its boots occasionally.

    I may be going nuts

Yes was thinking 235's as they are the closest equivalent to 7.50 I have at the minuet.

    I may be going nuts

Very much the way I feel about it but I do like the look of them

    I may be going nuts

They are the 16" ones as 18" would look silly on a series and personally think any 18" wheel looks silly on a defender. But here's the link http://www.bowlermotorsport.com/product/16-inch-light-weight-wheel/

    I may be going nuts

I would like some opinions as I think I may be going totally mad. The last few days I have been looking at the bowler wheels and thinking they look dam good and have now started thinking if they would look good on my series 3 88 station wagon. I would like to get some modern wheels for it so I...

    Just bought a 90

If the steering pulls to the left sorting the brakes might just solve your problem.

    Just bought a 90

The steering seems a little off? I thought that was just all Land Rover steering. Agreed no pics no proof.

Looking to purchase a winch and a winch bumper any idea's

it really depends on what you are after winch wise. First chose the drive you want i.e. Electric or hydraulic. Advantages of electric is lighter in some cases, lower cost, you don't have to be a mechanic to install one. Disadvantages lower pulling capacity than hydraulic winches, they have...

    Quad Choice

The honda foreman gets my vote. I think the older models don't have diff lock but the new ones do. All the forestry contractors use them as well as all the crofters and farmers up my way and they say they wouldn't have anything else.

Can I fit unimog 20" tyres onto 20" Range Rover rims for my sankey?

Ah right then. Should have no problems, my bad. Probably the best way to do it would be to get hub centric spacers made up with the unimog bolt pattern then just fit unimog wheels.
