    And today's symptoms are................

Hi John how are you? I dont have the BeCM license at the moment, I think I may need to buy it. Anyway, I have tried the security learn mode a few times on the FM, but I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I get the "the system is now in Learn mode, please turn igition off for a few seconds" etc...

    And today's symptoms are................

I have tried pressing the buttons while it's in position 2, as the prompt says after Engine Disabled. I have read on here that sometimes leaving the key at position 2 then connecting the battery up might work, any thoughts?

    And today's symptoms are................

Hey everyone, I'm finally back after being away for some time, and I must say it feels good!:) Anyway, I have a key fob issue which I will explain. While I was away, the wife was using my 4.6 P38 and let the battery on her 4.0 P38 run down to nothing. I have just put a new one on it as it...

    Welcome to my world!!

It's not awfully warm here today, there's snow forcast for tonight. Ah Spring in the Falkalnds. At least in a few weeks the lambing season will be over and we can start off roading to far flung beaches for BBQs and beer again. It does actually get pretty warm in the summer, and with no ozone...

    Welcome to my world!!

Aparently, the mines do migrate over time. They sink in the wet peat of winter, then rise again in the summer when the peat dries out. I never go very close the the fences for this very reason.

    Welcome to my world!!

The 400 odd mine fields are all marked very clearly and tend to be out towards Stanley and the mountians like Tumbledown and Longdon. Aslo around all the beaches in Stanley where they expected the Brits to land. Off roading is good here as the soil is mostly peat bog which makes it intersting...

That's exactly what it was, and it worked for her.

    Welcome to my world!!

You get to know where the really bad parts are and slow down ready for them. It's the dust in the summer and the mud in the winter that's the worst thing.

    Welcome to my world!!

It is actually penguin egging season, where the locals go collecting them to eat. They taste of fish and the white stays clear when they're cooked

    Welcome to my world!!

I just thought I would post a few piccys of the roads down here in the Islands, for your interest. The only proper metalled roads here are in the Mount Pleasant Airbase, Stanley (the capital) and a few small sections on the main road to Stanley. The rest of the roads are gravel or clay...

    Exhaust Centre Section?

Actually Gav, I'm looking at quite a profit for them. I bought the wife's 4.0 SE manual with 88k on it for £1995 and my 4.6 HSE with 87k on it for £1795. I will be looking for £5500 each or £10k for the 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek: There are only 3 others on the Islands and to honest...

    Exhaust Centre Section?

The joint on the rear of the box has come away. As you say Steve, sounds fantastic but the missus reckons that she has quite a bit of power loss as a result. I found a mid section on P38 spares for £59 which I might order, they have sent me stuff in the past like rear tailgate lifting struts...

    Exhaust Centre Section?

Thanks for your thoughts fellas, I think I'll have a look at the usual P38 spares places and get an actual centre box. I have just under a year left now, but will be looking to shift both my P38's on for a reasonable price. I think it's better to have a proper part for it. I wonder if I will...
