    Disco2 Factory Fit DVD player

So it has a region-code as for PC-players. Does that mean you can play dvd's from your 6-cd-player?? That sound tricky as it is a CD-player, not a DVD-player.:suspicious: Regards, Koen

    Disco2 Factory Fit DVD player

I haven't got any idea. Don't know if that is in the manual. But it might be a good thing to check.

    Disco2 Factory Fit DVD player

Hello, What I have had on normal DVD-players and PC-DVD-players is that they are in the wrong region-code. The dvd and the player must be in the same region-code. Normally you can switch it from one region to an other, but for example on a PC-dvd-player I have had the case where it was limited...

luckely we're getting back on the topic itself....... First of all welcome.:welcome2: I'm quite new on disco's too, but have read a lot on disco's the last couple of months. About high milage disco's: Ofcourse all depends on what you want to spend. But there are more then one disco arround...

    No de-cat :-(

The end of the story... Today a seperate 3th package arrived. So I received everything now. Unfortunatly, still no response of the seller. Having an object on the invoice if is arrives later with a seperate package (without stating so on the invoice)...not the way I would work. But hey...

    No de-cat :-(

Yes, on the packages "1of2" and "2of2" was indicated. I did send the mail (yesterday evening), I did take a picture(this morning). But didn't include the picture in my mail (as it was taken afterwards). Didn't receive any response on my mail yet...which I would have expected to receive. Even if...

    No de-cat :-(

I'm not going to publish that (yet). I want to give them the possibility to defend themselfs first and give them a little time to check and respond to my question. I don't want to throw with mud. What I can say: it is a big online shop from which I know many of you already ordered.... as it was...

    No de-cat :-(

Dave, As said, I received 2 packages. A small one with the little stuff and one with the loadliner. The loadliner-package was 1meter x 1meter x 15cm...so really "small". I've send them yesterday a mail, but no response until now :( Regards, Koen

    No de-cat :-(

Yes, it is on the included invoice. 2 things with a dot in front of them in the invoice. The loadliner and the decat. I suppose these where supposed to be send in a different box. Others like brake pads, filters, etc where in 1 small box. Anyone already had this? Parts missing from an order...

    No de-cat :-(

Yesterday received a message on my door that my package with parts arrived with the post (of course I wasn't at home) I collected it today. Directly checked it...as it seemed "small". Unfortunately no de-cat pipe...everything else was there  ...It's hard to miss that a de-cat pipe is...

    my pickle....

Hello, I only recently bought my disco. Needing a car to trailer, this was the best option. Stuck with my 2006 Fiesta and a 1999 Peugeot 306. Having to chose which one to sell. The fiesta is now being sold as for the 11 year old peugeot...nobody would want that anymore. So now we are hoping...

Disco 2: autobox more then full

As the wife is not at home, a good "DUVEL" is next to me... Landy's may be more frequent in the UK, but Belgium has the best beers :D:D

Disco 2: autobox more then full

I'm ready for the beer now :D As a fact, I had to add 1,5 liters....the same amount that came out when I unscrewed the plug without the engine running. So the amount in there was spot on. Koen

Disco 2: autobox more then full

I'm doing it this evening. ....now knowing it should be filled while the engine is running, it shouldn't be a problem. Does the car need to be in any specific gear? not mentioned in the documentation. Do I need to fill it again for every gear? or just run down through the gears one by one...

    Remap

I'm at 23,7 mpg when not towing and more "bigger" roads...more km's doing 75 mph (120km/h). When towing a small trailer and more town traffic (not in 4th with lock-up) I only get +/- 20-21 mpg. Until now all it still standard...de-cat & de-egr have been ordered. Car is a end-2002 TD5 Disco2...

Disco 2: autobox more then full

Thanks. I did read your procedure (even printed the procedure). But I overlooked the part where the engine should have been running and continu filling up WHILE RUNNING. I did run it, ran through all the gears, then switched it off, and filled up again (of course nothing needed to be added). By...

Disco 2: autobox more then full

Hello, I only have my disco2 (2002 - facelift) TD5 Auto since a month or so. I wanted to check if my auto gearbox had enough oil in it. (The filter is underway, but didn't want to wait with the check) Undoing the fillerplug first, as every manual indicates, there was already oil running out...

    TD5 owners in France

Shouldn't it always be tested and refined on a rolling road bench? Isn't every car a little different? ...off course it will always be better the original, but to get the best out of it... Regards, Koen
