Just to update for someone else who may experience the same problem. I followed the guy's advice but found no corrosion to speak of. Pulled out the sat nav unit and sprayed all the pins and connectors with WD40. Popped back in and all is well including being able to eject again. So again thanks...

Hippo, Thanks for getting back, had a quick look and all seems well regarding damp and corrosion. One thing though, have lost the Land Rover screen on opening the door and also should the RED power light on sat nav unit stay on even without key in, Thanks

Advice please, Been out today and had music on, turned into a junction and lost all sound. When I came to a rest pressed info again and back it came. Now lost the sat nav option on the front screen and seem to have some other colour options for the screen itself, albeit looks a little smaller...

Saint V8, To you I say a big thank you, without your knowledge a lot of us would be facing rip off bills. As per your advice above all done, reset and running perfectly. Hopefully a few more miles before I have to ask again, as just the best motor ever and so glad I got the V8. Cheers again :)
