yep it's the correct one, I followed Busters guide to the letter, but only get a trickle on the cam and still down on power

fitted a new lift pump to my 200tdi 90 today, on the lever it spewed diesel out quite healthily, fitted the in hose and left the one to the fuel filter off and fired the engine, no spewing forth of any expensive stuff. is it supposed to pump out diesel the same on the cam as with the priming...

you can make yourself one, I had the same part missing on mine, used an old umbrella, cut out one of the spa's and then just bend it with pliers copy the other side if your not sure been working on mine now for years with no issues

the turning circle doesn't feel much different on the load carrying question, most of em I drive are box back ambulances so not very light but handle the weight really well on and off road

I use a couple of different types of 130 for work, including doing off road training, they're just as capable and easy for day to day work, as usual a rubbish turning circle but that's nowt new

I'll have a look see if it's got any obvious play in the priming handle, but at that price I'll have a run over to Paddocks in the morning and change it anyhow thanks Steve

hi Steve, it's a 200tdi, I've changed the fuel filter since it's started playing up, no change. it runs fairly normal on the flat, but give it a slight slope and it's slow down and change down time as for dump valves, I'm not 100% sure about them but you sound right how do I check the lift...

got a 90 that was running fine, but is now well down on power, the turbo's spooling up (I can hear it working normally) but it's making no difference to the engine power I've checked the intercooler pipes - no splits checked the breathers to turbo/dump valve - no blockages or splits could it...

give Paddocks a shout, they've got tins of Dum Dum behing the counter (treated myself to one)

I've currently got a dog guard in my 90 and I'm looking to change it to a solid panel, for fastening nets too etc does anyone know where I can get one from, or is it time to practice my DIY skills again? cheers

I had mine blow on my def 200 tdi, a clip had gone, it was the towing electrics had dropped and were on the exhaust, melted through and the rest is history

Good evening, the battery warning light comes on, on my 90 when I rev the engine, but goes out when idling, it's a 90 fitted with a disco 200tdi and a twing battery set up, is it the alternator on it's way out? or what voltage should I be looking for at the batteries? Cheers Ian

done the CV joints, a peice of ****, but noticed when I took it for a test drive it seams to be pushing the pads back, can the hub be adjusted?

how much of the hubs do I have to strip to change the cv joints? according to the haynes manual it needs stripping completely. Also what jacks do you guys use and reccommend?

I'm trying to buy new CV joints for my defender, I've found the axle number but can't read it, how do I know which ones fit? it's a 91 defender 90 200tdi

I think it's looking like a front axle rebuild
