    Yes t is the 1.8 - I checked the oil cap for mayo deposits and the water was clear so hopefully the head gasket is ok

    Bumpers And Linseed Oil(update)

    This linseed oil sounds cheaper and just as good as the autoglym bumper restorer that I used on my old Previa. That cost about £6 for a bottle, and worked very well also (lint-free cloth required too). I will get some when the valet wears off in a few weeks!

    Getting a Freelander tomorrow - 1999/T Xi petrol :) Noticed on test drive that inside of nearside rear tyre was worn, and this is being replaced for me, but does this indicate a tracking problem?:confused:
