Range Rover Classic LSE 93 Restoration Project

Hi Dan - ive started the stripping on mine recently. Usual places/culprits but does look that bad TBH (famous last words). Might even start a quick thread although its fairly generic stuff and nowhere near of the scale of yours. Hope your work/tour is going ok - looking forward to the...

Classic LSE rear seat removal - bolts

Hi - wondering if anyone can help. Ive been stripping my LSE ready for some resto work and have snapped a couple of bolts that hold the seat frame brackets onto the body. The bolts have a hex head (10mm i think) and are sort of bare/tapered (with no thread) at the end and it looks like they have...

I have a 1994 LSE too, just wondering how you found V8 developments to deal with and were you impressed with the work to the engine?? (im thinking of using them for the top hat liners) Also what colour code is...

    Setting base idle issue

Hi - not had time to check everything due to family duties but had 20 mins on it tonight. The car started ok and idled quite level for a few mins. I pulled the maf plug off which stopped/cut the engine out so assume this means the maf is ok? I then checked the air flow by putting hand in front...

    Setting base idle issue

Ive only just replaced the stepper today with new gasket and cleaned the rear (small bolt on part) plenum with a new gasket. Is this likely to be letting in air still? It was an approved part from LR direct. And the issue was present before the replacement, let me know if im still missing...

    Setting base idle issue

    Setting base idle issue

hi - I've been having idle hunting/ stalling issue with my classic 4.2 lse. Problem started as it came out of a garage after having some (non engine) work carried out. The only thing the guy did was to wind the idle down a little as it surged when putting it into park. Since then the idle has...
