    Tips on removing speedo gear

    I've nearly destroyed the lip on the speedo gear housing trying to remove it, it won't budge or even move at all, trying to get it to turn but no luck. It's been soaked in WD40 for the past 2 days and I'm now stuck and looking for tips on removing it.

    I'm looking for the part number for the nut and bolt/stud below, I've looked through the parts catalogue and can't seem to find it. It's an LT230 22B suffix incase there different.

    Yeah, It broke just after where it goes into the transfer box. Part number is PRC6022 and I've got the choice of Bearmach Or Allmakes, Anybody got any experience of either? I've rule's out BritPart and Genuine is a little expensive :)

    My apologies, I've edited the original post. It's a 2.5na, 1986 with a 22B suffix LT77. After reading other posts they suggest the speedometer could be at fault also

    Everything is working fine and no other problems except the clicking relay, flashers are functioning properly, it is a Brit part relay :p

    When my engine is running my Flasher unit/Relay clicks slowly varying in speed depending on if I turn on my side lights ect. Is this a faulty relay or a bad earth connection something? It's a 2.5NA Thanks Chris

    Other way around bud, was a 17 I think for the drain plug and the 1/2" drive fitted perfect to get the filler plug out. Thanks guys :D no idea why I didn't think of that. Was trying everything else lol

    I finally found the serial number but I can't find any reference to a 22B, only a 22D. Unless I'm reading it wrong.
