i pulled it out and put it back together.again This can only be done the right way or the total it will not fit together.and you feel clearance I think the best way is to do the valve block job again and refil together with lucas 10009 and see what happens. Have good hope

I know .I have been thinking the last days what I could have done wrong .Fitting the oil pump went ok. New filter etc I have done often before.

I just checked the oil after a long testride and it was up to maximum stip

it makes no dfiference cold or warm. I made a longer testride today.I must say the box is not as smooth as it was before.The first three gears go rather well. the fourth gear is sticky

forward gears go excellent

I checked everything 5 times with rave.Fitting a new oil pump is not too difficult.The pump works fine.The starange thing is.......my first testride the reverse worked fine the second test ride after 2 hours the reverse started crawling

I hope nothing is damaged I did not pull the valve body apart

after changing the oil pump in my p38 zf24hp gearbox petrol and refitting the gearbox with new oil and filter the reverse is only crawling a bit. whatever I try with driving or shifting ,,,no luck....... Before the job everything was doing ok. would lucas fix help or is it just bad luck...

you are right I think the only reason can be in my case the pump lugs

can these pump lugs break just like that? And als both ? I do not know how strong they are. If the job is done do the errors on the display have to be erased by diagnostics

I thought there only is one possibility to click in the t conv into the pump otherwise the t conv will not fit to the ring gear of the starter and the bell housing will not close . I looked at clips on youtube how to fit a t converter
