so whats the pipe thats sticking out of the sender on deisels but not on petrol am i missing something here as the one thats fitted at the moment has no tube going into it only 3 wires as i think this is the original tank when the v8 was fitted.

Buy a TDi sender??? there is no return coming from sender as the return is fitted on the tank somewhere, most desiel senders ive looked at have a return fitted to them.

so i should buy a petrol sender??? i have 3 wires going into the sender i take it this may have low warning light or is this standard for non and with warning light.

hi guys cheers for all info, 300tdi is stamped 95. the engine is not near the rads, nice big gap between engine and rads.

Just found it I think starts off 19L not what it says on log book doh.....

Where is engine number as I can't find it in the usual spot

Vin number is correct for style of vehicle but not engine type as my engine is a 300 Tdi, so can I find out from the engine number what year it is

Its defiantly 300TDi use to own a Disco TDi 3 door many moons ago. is there anyway in finding out the year of the enigine so getting parts for it, as i need to get a machanical lift pump and also the injector pump may be leaking

the 110 pick up had a V8 in it origianally and has now got 300TDi (91-96) engine (pre ECU), I think not sure and the guy i bought it off not to sure either. Just want to get things fitted more securely and looking at the air box that was already fitted but not securely is the square shape style...

Just the issue of space, I've moved the screen wash bottle and the square filter box is a pain to fit unless there is a step by step way of fitting?????
