89 110 Defender pick up single cab

Hi Guys new to Forum,
just bought an 89 110 pick up. this was a V8 petrol and is now got a 300 Tdi engine pre ECU it seems.
just going through the wiring and im totally lost as wires have been cut and re connected for different uses which are now not fitted and just wondering has anyone gone from petrol to diesel and how different was the looms.
finding wires behind dash been cut and no wires connected to the dash warning light system.

any ideas would be greatful, (trying to use haynes manual to help me but only getting frustrated as nothing seem to relate to what ive got)

Welcome fellow tratterer (sufferer) click on the forums tab up top then scroll down to find the Defender bunch. I've got some good 300tdi schematics but how they relate to your issues big G knows. PM me if you'd like and I'll send 'em over. All the best.
