Ayup, I bought off ebay the other day a set of brakes shoes,springs and a cylinder for both front wheels. When i've got the drums off it seems i've got two cylinders on each wheel, top and bottom. The haynes manual doesn't have a picture of my setup. What is it??? I've got a 1980 swb...

Ayup!! How do you adjust the idle on a series 3 diesel?. I've had a look in the crap haynes manual, but either i am blind or it's not there.

This sounds like what has just happened to me and i found it was the clutch master cylinder, I replaced it yesterday and it's fine now. Mind you the missus wasn't happy sat in the cab for an hour while i was underneath trying to bleed it lol.

I've already lost so much blood when i put the pairobollicks on it, might get in touch with the blood bank see if i can get a couple of pints to keep in me fridge in case. When you say standard tools, wot do you mean? Will i need more than a lump hammer?

Anyway, back to my pairobollicks. They is working fine, the next job is to find the annoying mettallic rattling coming from the front end. Sounds like a metal ring rattling round an exhaust pipe (it isn't i checked).
