One year on, and i still have this front brake problem.. Drive and slow down to walking pace.. and as i apply the brake, theres like a grinding or grumbling noise from the front brakes? I could'nt sus it out.. so i went to my local LR garage and got them to have a look.. they had a drive in...

The Reluctor rings look fine... could it be the sensor? although im not getting a warning light come on? I disconnected the sensor (on the front r/wheel) and went for a drive, the brakes worked fine.. no grumbling?? As i say, could it be the sensor :confused:

Hey Chaser.. Wot the fulks a reluctor ring? :o Ive replaced the ABS modulator and still getting the same grumble, but, like you i dont get any warning lights or fult codes..

Thats it!! yep.. peddle goes up & down slightly then settles! Do you have any noise coming from the front brakes at all..

They do have metal backing (shims) i fitted these a few days ago, but i had the same problem with the old calipers & pads? Dealers said, the only thing is to do a full diagnostic.. which will cost £150 to start, depends on how long it goes on before they find anything, could cost 100s..:mad:

Hey'up Chaser.. how are yer buddy;) I forgot to say.. i also replaced the disks (Mintex disks & pads) the old disks un calipers were nackered anyway.. But the brakes are spot-on apart from this odd gumbling noise at very slow speed?:confused:

I had a free swimming pool with mine anorl, back door seals are fine, i found the lid used to condensate easly. I dryed it out, left it open on a nice day, it done the trick been dry ever since!:)

You dont get 'out fer nowt'.. turn it up the high settings, and it will go like a fookin rocket (mine does) BUT.. it drinks more fuel, feckin slurps it down!!:eek: Get it on a sensible setting to suit you un yer pocket!!;)
