Osf brake not as bad but still better without drum screw

Nsf brake the worst one there's about 2 to 3mm free play on the pedal something iv noticed they spin OK til I put the drum screws in

How would I check that? I haven't touched the master cylinder the old shoes were less than 1k miles old as are the drums and all brake lines but had to replace the shoes as the adjuster pins had fallen out and wouldn't go back in think they were britpart fitted by the previous owner.

Yes the battery is totally flat I'l take the positive from the battery to solenoid off and have a good look as it's covered in oil and needs cleaned though I did look the other day and it doesn't appear to touch anything other than the clip near the battery and one at the front of the sump

It's sorted now without the one way valve it was the pipe from the filter to the pump must have had a pinhole in it.

After replacing the leak off pipes my rangie is still stupid at starting. Iv heard about the 1 way valve mod an as their so cheap I might as well try it. But where in the fuel system do you fit it?

Il try that thanks. Should say it makes no difference how much fuel is in the tank as to how it starts.
