hi all ive got a problem with fuel starvation my 300 tdi disco strugles to rev or revs intermitantly when started from cold then is ok once warm but does the same thing if accelarated hard to around 3000 rpm theres also a ticking noise thats comming from the injector pump area that gets quicker...

hi all im trying to wire in the amp and subs in the back doors of my 1998 300tdi GS disco some previous owner has chopped the original connectors off so no chance of using a audio leads wiring harness :mad: so having to solder all the connections ive got the sterio and all four speakers sorted...

after some A/T tires for my disco i dirve it on the road everyday but also at play sites and green laning at weekends it come with avon rangers. was looking at insa turbo remoulds anyone have any thoughts on them being remoulds im a little worried??

mornig all is there a needle roller bearing in the rear stub axels or are they just in the front??

when i replaced the pads on my 300 tdi the pistons were realy tight to wind in on one side had to put the caliper in a vice now the car pulls towards the dodgy caliper under breaking. would new pistons and seals and a good clean out of the caliper sort the problem

hi everyone im struggling getting the fan off my 300 tdi to do a timing belt change the fan is left hand thread isnt it like it says in manual

ah right that explains a lot i was getting worried so next question is after changing the leaking gasket on my stub axel how much one shot grease od i put in just till it comes out the filler hole??

hi all my swivel housings dont have the smaller square headed level plug?? is this right there aint even a hole for it to go in th only one ive got is the the larger aquare filling plug at the 2 o`clock position on the housing????

hi all i took the front end of my 300 tdi to bits today to do front wheel bearings question is where the big hub nut lives passenger side was dry buy drivers side was full of green grease/oil whitch should it be and any info on what may of gone wrong?? thanks in advance Scott

thanks done the job now can fell a marked difference car seems to pull a lot more idle a lot better and not ratle as mutch thanks for the advice

what do i do with the wiring connector that goes to the egr valve on my 300 tdi?

hi all didnt want to start a auction for this so ill put it in here. anybody wanna swap their rear storage bins for my 6th and 7th seats out my 300 tdi (gray interior) never use them and would much prefer the storage.sorry if this is posted in the wrong place

ive just ordered all the same parts too going to give it a go myself only thing im worried about is messing timing up we will never learn giving it to a garage if you get yours done before my bits turn up let me know how it went

ill have a good root about tomorrow i thought it could be a colapsed bearing somewhere (altinator one of the pumps etc))
