    Air pressure for Grabbers

In the US of A it is a legal requirement that tyre manufacturers specify on the tyre wall the safe minimum and maximum operating pressures within the load capacity of the tyre. We don't have that here in the UK, instead the EU requires that the absolute maximum inflation pressure (before the...

    Air pressure for Grabbers

Nope, me too, the Grabbers are proving to be an excellent tyre on tarmac - stable and predictable in corners and much less road noise than the Toyos it had before.

    Gear Box Trouble ????

Always a good place to start. The filters on these things need regular changing (there was an excellent post with pictures on here a few months ago - have a search) It can be done at home if you have the space but shouldn't be too expensive to get done at an indie. Put it this way, it is the...

    My P38 is a hybrid........

Don't be so hard on yourself. Read back through your old posts and you will see that even you too had a sense of humour at one point. Seasons Greetings, Bah Humbug

    My P38 is a hybrid........

Just to please and appease all the tree huggers and eco-warriors my P38 has been transformed into an electric/petrol hybrid model, perhaps the first of it's kind. Each night I dutifully plug it into the mains electricity, this charges what I call a 'battery'. I use this device to drive a...

    Air pressure for Grabbers

Tyres on car - chalk test at fitters suggested 28 front and 36 rear for best footprint. As an aside, the tyres they took off were all at 6psi higher than the garage air guage I regularly used had suggested. The meter at the tyre fitters was done by trading standards ( I think it was them)...

    Air pressure for Grabbers

yep, but everyone here has tried and tested pressures for various tyre brands. I've been running at 28 front 36 rear, just wondered what worked best for these tyres when fitted to a P38...............

    test drove Evouge today

Why didn't they just dump the Gaylander, there is, after all, very little visually between it and the disco these days. They should have just dumped a Gaylander Ewok badge on it and be done with it. I can't abide the fact that some pratt with Lego and a hammer is in charge of design at LR -...

Is it possible you could give a little more info about the car and model year - photos are also great for getting the right people to chip in with answers.

Rain Water leak A post area.

Mine wasn't actually the 'traditional' pollen filter problem, but a combination of blocked drains underneath the filter housing and water seeping it under the filter housing.............

    Its raining inside

I was plagued with water getting into the heater duct on the n/s (mine is RHD) and this fix has worked for me, not a drop in all weathers, nor anything getting into the car when hose washed - http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/air-intake-pollen-filter-water-leak-fix-168313.html Let's face...

Air bags done - car transformed

Bought a pair of Dunlops on Fleabay from Island 4x4 for £120 plus new clips at £5 or so. Just goes to show that even the simple things can cause so many underlying problems. Oh, and I didn't fit them, I won't go into all that again but a very nice indie in Okehampton (James tennant) stuck...

Rain Water leak A post area.

Might be air intake drains blocked on the o/s - mine was dripping on the n/s and this fix sorted it - http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/air-intake-pollen-filter-water-leak-fix-168313.html

Air bags done - car transformed

Just had my airbags replaced and after only a short drive home I can honestly say that the car has been completely transformed. The ride in particular is much more forgiving, no harsh ride over potholes, but the most noticeable thing is how changing the bags has eliminated quite a few niggles...

    missfire, changed everything, still there

Never fear, gentleman James will sort you out. Mine was in there today for airbags and they did a great job in no time at all.
