Awesome thread just spent last few evenings reading this and have the same to do to my recently bought d1 with the added extra that half the middle row floor has rotted away also

I have found the kits but fancied making out of box section as be a lot thicker stronger and last longer

quick question what size box section are people using to make inner sills mine are completely shot along with a fair amount of the floors and a lot of chassis welding?

Cheers for reporting it still getting used to where right part is to post technically it is a project ;) bought last week alternator was seized so fitted a second hand one and needs a tonne of welding but at £350 with 87k miles on the clock it was a bargain
