Stolen Landy parts Dorset / New Forest

Argh Sorry to hear it! I have just been in Dorset from Monday until now. We've even been playing 'spot the Defender' - I haven't seen any with winches (but I've seen a few blue ones). Wish I could help you out :(

    What have I done?

Thanks cutty. The BNCs made me think the same. They were going through the antenna on the front and were disconnected (unplugged) before I began tinkering. I suspect somwhere the ignition or similar is wired in series via a wiring block which I've hacked in my fervour to remove the devices.

    What have I done?

One of them is made by marconi. Do the make ECUs? A charge didn't help so I'll just have to trace the whole system when I get back from Weymouth. Thanks guys

    What have I done?

It maybe I went a bit crazy with the hacking away of wires etc - what should come straight off the battery?

    What have I done?

The ecu is still sitting happy under the drivers seat :) Both the 'radios' I took out had antennae connections on them...They were behind the passenger seat.

    What have I done?

Today I removed what I'm pretty sure was a radio from my ex utility 110 td5 and whilst I was at it, I removed the battery temporarily (completely, not just unplugging one terminal). After replacing the battery, when I turn the ignition, nothing happens :( - no dash lights or anything. I have...

A few minor issues on the 110

Hey Guys, Bought by defender last Friday but haven't really been out in her much because of a few little problems and some of the horror stories I've been reading here  I've got a few tools (spanners, sockets and screwdrivers - the usual DIY stuff) but I'm not super well equipped. Can...

Thoughts you had during yours first (ever) drive of a landy

Since I am a new owner and a recently lost my landy virginity to a 110, I thought it would be slightly amusing to post some thoughts I had during my first drive. Post yours too :) F**k this is awesome! Wtf does this do? (Most items in cockpit) How does this second gear stick thing thing work...

Work on recently bought 110 TD5

Thanks Jase - Pricey isn't an option right now but if you could pm me their number I will keep them in mind for later. I think I'll take the hit and go to Dorset in the bimmer and take my time and be meticulous with the Landy. When I'm sure she won't impale herself on her own prop I'll take...
