hi guys 95 300 tdi back windows wont open or close until i have been driving for at least 5 minutes and if i turn off the ignition with a window down i cant get it to move for at least 5 minutes any help appreciated many thanks

quick update just gave it a "tap" with the hammer and hey presto off it came thanks for all your help:D

when i put the spanner on the nut just spins but i cant see anything else spinning

hi guys just a quick one i have a 32mm spanner to remove fan nut left hand thread how do you stop it turning so i can put pressure on the nut to release it many thanks oh its a 300 tdi m reg

mike i think it has solved it it feels a bit better on take off and it idles higher on start too luckily i had some fuel hose in my shed i could use

i have just swapped them they felt very brittle so hopefully it will be better thanks so far.:)

scratch that guys it doesnt idle at 750 when cold it is actually 500 rpm until i hold the revs??????

it is a manual and i have to only do it once i am not used to diesels so it is probably me i was just curious if the idle was different from cold like a car it is a nice truck and did not cost me alot but i have the bug for modifying it now lol

hey guys my 300 tdi discovery when i start it it idles at about 750 rpm and doesnt seem to go very well unless i hold the revs on about 2000 for about 10 secs i have just bought this and i have owned cars before and usually they have a higher idle until its warm any ideas? cheers
