Sorry boys and girls, want to clean/change my crank case filter, can some one give me a hand on its location? Can't find a clear description on here, or maybe its me just being a bit thick. Just had all the pipe work on top of the engine out and cleaned of all the gunk, it was very dirty, bet it...

Thanks for your continued response, there are some varied results, think i will try the crank case filter thing and see if that does anything, not that long been serviced so that should be ok. Just read up on the EGR, think I will leave that for another day, week or year! it sound a bit...

Sorry should have said what I have, its a auto TD4 Freeby 1, I had a manual before and that only did about 28 MPG.

I get about 25 MPG, I think thats crap, what do you get? and can I do anything to increase it? apart from drive slower which isn't going to happen, thanks for reading.:mil16:

The Pre burning fuel thingy seams to be on more often than not, i thought it should only come on if the temp was 5*c or less.It does go of but only when it feels like it, any ideas welcome? Many thanks:5bdupe:

When i close my sunroof it clicks and stops closing, so i have to give it a push to help it close fully. Sounds like a clicking sprocket, could this be the case? if so do i need to replace the stupidly over priced motor or is there another way? Your help would be most appreciated! Thanks.:mad2::mad:

Just to tie this thread up, it was a H/K speaker as when i finally removed it, it had a H/K sticker on the back and the part number. It cost £35 to replace and sounds good again, thanks for your help and hope this helps others. If you have the H/K upgrade it will defo have upgraded speakers all...

Has any one got a Harman kardon door speaker for a Freeby for sale. I have bought a standard one and its not right and is for sale or swap if you need one, £12.00 all in. I think new ones are around £20.Cheers Jason.:mil4:

Thank you i think you maybe correct, that thing in the boot is the amp then is it? been trying to work out what it was since i got it! Will take a chance and try and get some standard speakers, cheers.

My door speaker is not working and needs replacing, i have the Harman Kardon stereo fitted, what i would like to know is, are the door speakers up graded when they put these stereos in or not, as the one in my door looks just like the standard ones. Not shore what to replace it with?:5bparty:

Job done, quite easy as you said, thanks! No noticeable defects apart from dust, so put some de greaser on the drums and shoes and gave them a gentle rub with some wire wool, wiped clean with a cloth and re assembled. Lets hope this works! Thanks for the help!:drum:
