    Do it , mike from dynachip recently done mine ( 2001 td5 es auto) I wish I had done it years ago , the iprovement in performance is impresive and a recent trip with the caravan seen it avarage 26 mpg overall :)

    Sounds like timing chain tensioner if on the overrun , also check eng oil pressure with a gauge it might be enough to put the light out but not enough to keep the hydlolic followers happy , just a thorght
