Stay with the V8 make sure you add a few extra tanks and jerrycans just inn case, also make shore the V8 it tuned well, go for LPG as well. As others have said you will regret changing it to a 300 and will cost a lot and you will find it VERY hard to change.

Hi everyone, With my 1988 110 it has quite a lot of rust patches which need treating. I already have some hammerite which i got given. For treating the patches is hammerite good for the job when you have sanded the patches back. Yours Sincerely Burtie

I think you should get a disco even thought i have and love defenders but if you are traveling a lot get a disco.

But if you were going to do that it would be cheaper to get one which wasn't run as hard for less than buying a new engine with a ex-mod landy. So if i was you i would spend a bit more and get a better nick car.

I think I will have to fix them by welding new sections in. Does anyone know a good value welder in or arround Hampshire.

The ex Mod cars are well looked after but are run very hard so some of them are not going to keep going for much longer.
