Ok, Update, Cleared the fault with the computer and run the engine for a good 5 minutes, the suspension has not raised at all. We then used the software to depressurise the tank and springs and no air was expelled we did this to try and re set the relays, we run the engine again and still...

Hi, I took a look at the lip on the discs as you suggested and it was just rust that came off with a small file, the thickness of the discs are ok, they easy meet the minimum thicknes that is in my haynes manual so im pretty happy with them now. Thanks very much for the advise. John

Hi All, Final Update, it was the front brake pads, they had worn down just about to the metal, one of the pads were actually on the metal and I think that is what was causing the vibration. I have run the car for about 30 miles now and the vibration has stopped and its amazing the braking...
