Hi
Does anyone know where i can get the fuel tank mounting bracket from?
Part number NRC9474
Tried craddocks and they said the only way they can get one is from land rover and its going to cost about 60odd quid and really dont want to pay that for a small bracket
thanks
Hi just looking for some advice
Ive changed the oil seal and metal spacer on each axle / brake and changed the pads all round as they were all oil soaked.
Found the drums a bit tight to replace even with the adjuster on its lowest setting and the drums are getting very hot all round and can...
snapped the head off one of the long bolts that hold the water pump on, managed to get cambelt cover off still but has anyone got any tips on removing the pin without drilling it out, i have tried mole grips but pin felt a bit weak
tried today using a hole cutter but this created loads of fumes so tired just knocking them out like first suggested and didnt get very far after about an hour
the bushes in my radius arms seem to have 3 metal sections and this is making it more difficult =/
what is the best way to remove the original landrover bushes
they really dont want to budge
was thinking about burning them out but not too sure
advice please?
hi going to be doing this engine swop in my series 2a soon
just wondering where your going to mount the intercooler?
trying to find some ideas of mounting it without it being in the wing and having to cut holes in the top for vent to direct the air etc
The front of the chassis and the rear are not too bad (had a new rear crossmember at some point in it's life) but the middle is bad put a screwdriver through it in some places under where the seat box goes. Got plans for a galv one anyways so not too fussed about the rust
been busy again this week managed to dismantle the 90 some more
the rain has stopped my fun for today so thought ill show a few pictures
also have the back tub removed but was too wet too get any pictures
Managed to get a few more parts stripped off today
Removed bumper and A bar
remove checkerplate from sills and rear
removed most the bolts that hold the sside steps on but think the rest need the grinder
also changed my wheels for some old ones as sold them cause putting new ones back on
