The only issue I had with the 90 was getting it stable on 4 stands. Had to take the front bumper off and sit the front ones as far forward as pos to get it stable. I gave it a good shake and couldnt rock it either. I have a tarmac drive and over time the stands sank a little but not noticeable.

How are you to build it? I have the block sitting flat and then the conrods bolted to the cylinder face. I had to cut a notch in the piston skirts to have the top sitting flat for the glass to rest on.

Can`t you use axle stands? I stripped a discovery on my drive with the stands on the highest setting. There was even enough space to pull gearbox out. You can just set the front and rear ones on different heights to compensate for the drive slope

I dont know what year or model they came out of. They are cloth seats, both front and the rear. was thinking about fitting them to the 90 but funds could be used elsewhere at the mo. I am open to offers

could it be reading right and may have an air lock? Problem with thermostat? you seem to be concentrating on the sender, could it be something else?

I got the 90 and a renault scenic. Dont really use the scenic much but is great to have a spare so no rushing when working on the landy

What problems would putting range rover classic fabric seats in a 90 cause????? Getting some that arent costing anything and they look proper comfy.

If ya google 200tdi it will give you some piccys, then do the same for 19j ( old ****ty engine) then you will know what you are looking at

you can just replace the dust cover on the track rod end.only takes 5 mins and no messing with tracking afterwards. The fuel cap washer might mean a new cap. Where abouts on the wirral is ya?

I have the front, rear axles and a gearbox ( no transfer box) for sale. The gear box crunches when going in to 2nd but otherwise ok. I was going to put the axles on the 90 but have decided to get the spacers instead. Pm me for details. Thanks John Would also do a swop of all the above for some...

Got any photos? There seems to bit of confusion which part you are trying to describe. The large box behind headlights? is that round with the leaky pipe coming off the top and going to the turbo?

The engine is breathing heavy. There is a breather pipe from the oil filler cap to the air filter and the oil travels through that. Most re-route the pipe from the cap and stick it through a hole in the chassis just below the air filter housing. Keep a look out for cheap discoverys as a 200tdi...

Sounds like clutch is slipping. Did you fit wadeing plugs? Might just have got the clutch wet and dirty, best case it will sort itself worst case is new clutch
