I can't get the diff lock unstuck and cooked the rear prop donut. I removed the rear prop and took it to the local garage man who can;t unstick it and reckons he now needs to drop the gear box to have a go. Is there a knack to unstick the diff lock? Cheers Rob

But does changing to an articulated p/shaft or changing to a 200tdi diff etc. only sort the donut shredding issue out? I can't see how this winds up the transmission.

300Tdi with 2" lift, no corrective radius arms. I noticed about a month ago that the rear propshaft coupling had started to shred (I'd had the car a while and driven 4k+) so as it was on the ramp, I had a new one fitted. Going to work this morning, things didn't feel right with quite bad...

Why is anti-freeze so bloody expensive?:mad: I didn't mind for the two litres I needed for my motorcycle but 5 litres+, it's a rip off. By the way, is there any particular type of anti-freeze I need to use in a 300Tdi? Cheers Rob

My 300 front bumper and plastics are looking shabby and really beyond help. I'd like to fit a bumper that has fog lights in the valance and I think I'm correct that the ES has them. Is it possible to fit an ES bumper and plastics on to a non-aircon 300Tdi? Cheers Rob

Had the same problem on mine last week. The front prop shaft bearings were shot so I replaced it as well as a badly worn donut on the back prop shaft, not that the donut would create much noise (unless it let go completely).

To be precise, there are five on mine - Front Side Rear Dash + trailer light. When I remove any of them (front/side/rear) they still flash at the same rate - bloody quick!

Relay or flasher unit? I'm understood to believe that left/right/hazards use the same so ruled that out. Cheers Rob

I've fitted a standard air box now so the snorkel is redundant at the moment. Where would I buy/get the tubing to go from the snorkel, that currently terminates just inside the wing, to the intake to the std airbox? Or, did the snorkel come with a modified air box? I don't do any off...
