Looks like me 300tdi's water pump gaskets deed. Think they're called p gaskets are they? Anyway....I'm hoping I'm wrong but yer gonna tell me it's a bitch to change aint ya? :( Is it worth changing the water pump at the same time while I'm there? Can I still hobble on without changing...

You mention replacing all intake hoses............ALL of them? It's usually the corner pipe before the turbo that folk miss which has a split in it. Checked that one?

Will it pass an MOT if I fit one of these de-cat pipe jobbies? I'm hoping it will give it a bit more oomph too? The exhaust is sounding a bit louder around that area, could it be that it is a bit tatered?

Either check in the manual on the method to do it or just unplug the alarm. Either way is simple

Would it be fine to use a 2t trolley jack on the disco for removing a wheel? Would you trust it?

Everywhere I've looked they're seperate, I'm in the same boat at the minute and the little fitting kit is only about £1 odd at most places.

Just thinking about it, how much wear is too much on brake discs where mot is concerned? the rear discs 'grooves' from the pads are worn about 1.5mm in Is it worth me changing them?
