I have just converted my manual sunroof to electric, just bolted the elec motors in + the wiring loom and it all works :) Had to use the front and rear trim (roof lining) out of another disco for the switches to fit in. Everything works + no leaks :)

If I change my 100w bulbs out of the spots and fit 50w bulbs in could I use the standard wiring loom? Could I not add anything extra on the end of the loom to make it cope with the 100w bulbs?

Nothing is every easy on a disco!! I will try and sort something out but wanted to keep the OEM fog light switch :( could I wire standard fogs straight to the loom? and not need to do anything?

sounds like the spider to me, my 300tdi did the same thing, could do it 3 times in 1 day and then nothing for a month. go on ebay and buy the spider bypass, very very easy to fit and lots of pics/info on how to do this :)

It's the actuator what has had it. I replaced my spring in the door mech and starting doing the same as you state. Replaced my actuator and everything is fine now apart from the door won't open with the handle from outside :(

oh and did i mention that I have been looking at a eberspacher diesel heater :) just to dry the dog before we get home lol
