    Clarion Stereo Problem

I think the swap round of the ten pin line out connector would be my first check. The connector in the passengers footwell is in the panel against the inner wing, so feet in footwell and kick to the left! DB

    LSE radio

Try disconnecting the autochanger as that error can come from it. David

    Clarion Stereo Problem

If you remove the locator on the ten pin plug at the rear of the unit, swap it round and see if the no sound channel moves. Of course put it back after testing, if it doesn't then it's either the connector in the footwell or in the door

    Air suspension problems.

I had a 94 hse in 97 for 4 years, now run a 90 defender xs and xvs convertible, no air bags as such! I gave up with the air suspension controller on the hse and made a four way manual controller, press one of the switches to either up or down the corner. I had paid just over £1800 to fix the...

    radio problems

If its the clarion try a reset, remove the trim and next to the red led is the switch. If it doesn't work check steering switches, or wiring behind the radio, it is one wire to do the steering controls so it easy to remove for testing

How can you test an autochanger

Send it to clarion service for a test, there is no way to test without the head unit connected.

Electrical gremlins - CD player and power steering

Sorry I thought all were the clarion fibre optic, so I guess you have to have the cd spinning to hear the iPod?

Electrical gremlins - CD player and power steering

You can not mean the autochanger as it is fibre optic. A repair to the autochanger would be less than 169! ,

    CD changer - casette stuck

I know you have not said its the clarion changer, just that it was stuck. The clarion magazine will not just pop out. Out of interest did it work afterwards and is alpine?

    CD changer - casette stuck

There is no reset on xqe500201/202 autochanger, if it is a mechanical jam, no reset would sort any autochanger anyway. Only one thing for it, got to come out for repair.

    CD changer - casette stuck

They are not the same changer, be careful forcing magazine out, you can do more damage. It might be just a strip down now, a full rebuild if you force it!

    90 xs judder

Thanks I will take a look, if I "burnt it off" by riding the clutch for a few minutes, might give an idea. I guess what I'm trying to avoid is the " it's the clutch, oh no it's not that, it's blah blah blah". Having got rid of a p38 with suspension problems, that I spent £1800 on fixing that...

    90 xs judder

Uh, there ain't no change in my wallet! As mentioned it is a judder, a shake felt throughout the car, things rattle. If I raise the revs to say 3 k it doesn't do it but It would make me look l could not drive.

    90 xs judder

It's been doing it for a while, it only happens at pull off. The car only did 1600 miles between mots, so I was hoping for a simple fix as I will put up with it.

    90 xs judder

I know I can go to my service people but, I wonder if you guys would know what could cause a judder while pulling off? The clutch seems fine so I was wondering mounts or something?
