    Thanks for the tips everyone. Will be getting the door locks and rubber all lubed up and then bring on the bid freeze to test it out. Lets hope ok as do not want to be going to buy too much vasiline from local chemist as they may start to wonder.....

    Thanks for the reTreworgey 90ply. Did wonder if som Vas may help. Will try and get it between were the handle splits to open, as that seems to be were ices up. Another use for the vasaline aswell as battery terminals! Cheers.

    I have had problems like this on other vehicles, and sorted it by using a vacume or air pressure bleed kit. Halfords do a ok one that uses the air out of a tyre to force the fluid through the system. This may work? Have no idea about clutch system on discovery as only just bought one just over...

    Just does nothing. seems really strange that as soon as opened up manually with the key it works no problem off the key fob, doing the dead lock and headlights on to see you in the house. perhaps like me and takes a while to get going in the morning!
