Hi, I'm restoring a 1967 Series 2a and have come to the stage where I want to refit the wiring harness. Has anyone got any photos or articles that show the engine bay wiring harness? I am having some trouble identifying what wires go where. Any photos to [email protected] please.

Hi Wills, It's a Pioneer cd player with Sat Nav. I never even knew that the front came off! Thanks for your suggestions anyway. I've still got the blend motors and air con condenser to sort out, but thats for another day. Thanks Dave.

My ignition key in came back again - wd40 tried and all is well again for the time being.

Well, what an idiot, all is now well. Thanks Crossply, it was indeed the radio, until I reread the thread I had missed it. When I took the hevac unit out, I had also removed the radio, how stupid can you get - no answer required! Thanks everyone else for your help.

Hi Wills, Thanks for your comments. The sound does only happen when I turn the ignition off. I will check the message centre for any messages when i turn the key to position 1 and let you know but I dont think there are any messages. The message centre does report all the failures you mention...

The beeps are definately from the hevac unit. They are there whether or not the keys are in the ignition. I want to get the air con working so ill change the blend motors and condenser when the weather is warm enough to work outside again!

I know that it seems a little bizare, but I've had no more trouble since I put a new battery on! If it does come back i'll try the wd40. Cheers, Dave :-)

Open sunroof fully back then straight away close it fully again straight away tilt it open fully, then close it again. Its then set. All these operations must be done with no gap between them.

Thanks Adam. I get the beeps all the time and have done since I bought it (2 months ago). I know the air conditioning condenser is leaking and the blend motors appear to be faulty. I have the air conditioning switched off and as long as I dont change any of the heater controls no warning come up...

Hi, Whenever I shut the engine off on my 1997 p38 dse I get 5 beeps. There are no error messages showing anywhere. Can anyone tell me what it may be?

Hi - just checked and the ignition switch seems OK as when I shut the engine off and leave the keys in and open the door it says ignition keys in and when I do the same with them out there is no message. I have now noticed that the climate control unit has the book symbol up and an exclamation...

This turned out to be a bad batch of fuel. Filled up again and its now fine :-)
