    Rear oil leak

You should replace the brake pads as well, as they will be contaminated with oil.

    Challenge / comp truck

I wouldn't weld the diff unless you tow it to events, and also bear in mind for challenges it will probably put you in a higher class. If you start challenging, it's definitely not cheap :frown:

    Articulation problem

Sorry that's not true. Far fewer people have a problem with axle mounted cones that with chassis mounted cones, myself included. I'm not going to bother to try to explain why, truth be told I've never put any thought into it, but it's what happens. If you must stick with chassis mounted, get...

    North Wales antis...

Was over there during Easter, I don't remember there really being any signs of off piste driving other than 1 20 metre stretch on a very well known lane. Might be farmers kicking off, we got shouted out on a lane we were sure was a legal ROW but Mr. Farmer decided it wasn't

What have you done to your Landie today.

If you have to correct to keep it straight then it's fitted wrong. I like my RTC damper, it does make it a bit more of an effort to manoeuvre at low speeds but I value the self centering over that. Definitely not everybody's cup of tea though

Need to borrow an Engine Crane,

Don't need an engine crane to change those though do you?

    Albright SW82 Wiring

Woops! Rang the distributor and found out I was wiring it totally wrong! Sorted now :)

    Back Door and Spare Wheel

I had a 285/75 on my rear door for a while. Bent the door a tiny bit, was noisy as hell, I'm amazed it didn't make the glass shatter tbh.

Fan damage to boost hose in new Defender 90 - anyone else had this?

It's exactly the sort of thing I would expect from a defender :behindsofa:

Which drive member do i need????

What am I missing?! r380 w/ short bellhousing

To add to the list, could also be clutch fluid from a leaky slave cylinder. Whatever fluid it is will be black because of clutch dust

    Where's yer CB

Headlining just behind where the rear view mirror mounts. Keeps it dry

    Roll over protection

If you were going to go to the trouble of having one put in, then you might as well get something that would actually work if you ever needed it. I think safety devices and protection and performance both do internal cages, they will take up some room though. They are not just a hoop in the back...

    Whats it worth......

Fair enough. Just bear in mind you will never get what it's worth from one of the 'we buy your defender' lot. They need to buy it at a price such that they can sell it on themselves and turn a good profit on it

    Whats it worth......

I would have thought got to be worth 6k? Relatively low mileage for a land rover, looks very good condition, unmolested (but you really should do something with the wire hanging out of the drivers door...)

    Picked up my 90 today

Scorpion racing went bust I think, had a very bad reputation with some for ripping off products. They then resurfaced as extreme4x4

    Draining battery quickly...

Could the glow plug relay fail in a way that means the timer no longer works, so the glow plugs just stay on? Could check for that by taking the glow plug feed off the first plug and putting it out of the way (where it can't sort out on something!) then leave ignition on for a while.

    300Tdi Headgasket - thickness

Most people fit a 3 hole gasket because it's the thickest one that land rover made (yes I know there's a zero hole), and they can't be bothered to check piston protrusion etc to get exactly the right gasket. I'm on of them. I would just fit whatever you've got on at the moment ( 2 hole) if...

    90 won't start

Could be a bad earth on engine/gearbox/chassis. Or it could that when you were laning/jetwashing it's got some water and much inside the starter or solenoid. Can you get someone to give the starter motor a tap with a broom handle whilst you try cranking it?
