    Lifting a P38

    Lifting a P38

Hey guys, Nice to be on again this morning! Just a quick question but it's one that has me confuzzled! Everytime I jack up Jonesey (our RR) the rear airbags pop off??? Surely this is not normal. I can't use a 4 post ramp unless I go through depressurisation first and I can't jack it up on the...

    Diff oil?

Hey guys, a the title suggests, I'm wondering what type of oil to use in the front and rear diffs? Also is there any particular type of auto transmission fluid to use with the 4.6 motor? It's a 1995 GEMS by the way. Is the front diff lubricated separately from the auto transmission? Cheers CK

    Odd electrical gremlins

OK, so how is a brand new TESTED battery fecked and how do I prove it? Any info on that resistor info would be great as it's definately the EAS. I've conducted various test and everytime it is left at any other height than access, the battery goes flat.

    Odd electrical gremlins

Haha, I can see you're an optimist. I haven't had time to do it but equally I haven't had a flat battery either and the only thing I'm doing differently is putting the suspension to access height EVERYTIME I leave the truck. I heard it clicking away one night when I came out of the house to go...

    Odd head failure issue?

This pump was pretty bad anyway. The bearings were absolutely shot and the pulley had significant movement so it was due anyway!

    Odd electrical gremlins

Alternator checked out fine, battery was at 20% due to being jump started repeatedly due to the power drain! Looking for new RF modulator as I have intermediate version. :jaw:
  17. C

    Where is the RF modulator?

Can I remove it and run without it? How do I get a new one that doesn't suck the battery dry?
  18. C

    Where is the RF modulator?

    Where is the RF modulator?

Morning guys. Just come out to the car and it's dead again. This is after a brand new battery and alternator repair. So where is this RF unit and what identifying marks, numbering am I looking for to distinguish which unit it is? Cheers.

    Odd head failure issue?

As requested! Sorry, I've been a little busy. Right well I've done over 400 miles now since the treatment and we're still running fine. No water loss, no overheating, no hydraulic lock, no steam. What you can't see is me vigorously touching a piece of wood next to me!! Haha!! It did start...
