I know it's a bit late but look at extract engineering of Carlisle web site he gets them out for £70 + £37 an hour travel or you can travel to him I know it's a bit far but I think he's the only person in uk with the right kit to do the job with out taking the head off

Found a bloke in Carlisle extract engineering can take them out with the head in place for £70 + £37 an hour travelling sounds good to me may be handy for a few people on here as that's not all he does have a look on his web site

Local land rover specialist quoting £670 just labour to take snapped heater plug out they say it takes 10 hours to do the job I don't know whether to just leave it in as it's not causing any issues or give my self a head ache of trying to get it out what would you do cheers

Could I not pull the nut bit off and use an eazi out to remove the left over threads

I went to change the heater plugs to find no 2 heater plug snapped blow the nut part it's all still intact and wanted to know 1, is it ok to used and just leave the snapped plug in 2, is there anyone in Durham area which can remove it with out taking the head off Any help greatly appreciated

Yes blooming land rover they've stopped making the headlamp guards as well that would be why some thieving toe rag has pinched mine and left me with holes in bumper and wings anyone know we're I can get a new set facelift model cheers
