Two choices if your lock has failed. cut the metal latch or smash the lock. I had this about 3 weeks agao. I had to break the lock through the window gap which takes about two mins to do and then replace the lock mech. Island 4x4 is the cheapest place for a new lock.

I had this problem with trying to buy a door bin, they are no longer available either. But they still state 70% of all Land Rovers are still on the road!

When I had recent BECM problems like this Dougdotcom sorted it all out for me so I can vouch for his quality work and diagnostics.:)

On mine the Engine check light was still correct but the Becm EMS code was incorrect. You need someone who can check this for you with a Faultmate etc.

I find Halfords own heavy duty carpet cleaner is very good and I did mine with that at the time.
