yes you will lose a lot of power without the turbo helping the engine on my disco 300tdi the turbo kicks in around 2500rpm not sure when yours will kick in but they are useless without the help from the turbo

firstly does the sender unit filter the fuel before the sediment bowl gets it all and if i just undo the sender unit retainer can i drop the tank without moving the sender to much as i dont fancy breaking the pipes any help apreciated thanks dave

it looks like its the rocker cover gasket leaking only a couple of quid also check the fuel pipes mine split and that went everywere it seams to high for it to be head gasket unless you have it on the pulleys and it is getting thrown up is the under side of your bonet full of it

hi i have d1 300tdi and it is used for general run about and lite laning i have 2" suspension lift + dislocation cones and antiroll bars removed as i found when you get some cross axle parts on the track you loose traction especualy when going up hill (the missus and kids were not impresed lol)...

put mine in for ticket failed on a trackrod end rear antiroll bar headlight insecure and off position and a bulb in rear bumper fixed for £20 and got 12 months grace not bad

mine is a 95 300tdi and it stands me at bout £600 done full service and welding myself allready had boot floor done when i got it so done inner wings rear arches and few other bits its in tues for ticket so may cost more yet will let you know how i get on

yep after all that buying bits and dismantaling it fuel pipe to lift pump was blocked with something just going to clean sediment filter again to see if it went in there but hey if it dose it again ill know what to try first thanks for all the help and info thow it all helped

went out today and it drove as it usualy has done for first few miles then realy lost the power on slight hills got to a steep hill and had to keep it in first under 2000rpm doing 10 mph i would be realy greatfull for any help
