Just been reading some previous post to do with oil changes on Auto boxes. Some say to leave alone if its not causing problems, some say not to change if history is unknown? Now, i was wanting to change me gearbox and transfer box oil as a matter of course, plus i recon it holds some...

Just been thinking (dangerous I know) When filling me gearbox oil up I normally fill up until it comes out of filler hole (also says on rave).... However, I have a dipstick under the bonet, so what do I fill to? Also how much ATF will I need as the capacities on rave say just under 10l...

Just done a search and not found owt diffinative! Rave gives a range of oils to use, but what have you found to be the oil to use? Also semi or fully? Mines a 4.0 petrol and LPG :D Cheers dudes
