Hi i have just got a 2004 td5, it has had a ecu remap done on it, i have a nanocom and have removed the map from it. I went to put it into the wifes disco and it wont let me. If i try to instal the tun file it comes up WRONG VIN if i read map it says protected file do i want to save it as a tun...

Also had same problem, searched high and low for orings but could not get correct thickness anywhere,LR do not do them either, ended up biting the bullet and payed the 98gbp for it, easy enough to do except for the bottom bolt

decat pipe dead easy to fit, dont buy custom made one, go to your local exhaust place and get front pipe for 98-01 disco 2. i agree with ratty about cat put hand on back exit from exhaust if tooo hot cat fkd i had the similar problem to you but it was my egr vacum block which was blocked, again...

problem fixed vacum unit at back of drivers side inner wing, where egr vacum pipes go into was blocked, changed it and now fine Thanks for all your help, hopefully this may help someone else with same problem

at idle smooth, only once revs come up do you get this problem, which makes it undriveable, wastegate working fine, egr valve bypassed, still the same, running out of ideas here

I have just replaced the rear door stay on my disco 2. the problem i have is that i also need to replace the pin on the body that this attaches onto. It is a push in fit by the looks of the new part, but cant seem to budge it, been soaking it for ages with no luck

Hi Guys prob;em with mates 2003 td5, starts first time off key purrs sweet as a nut, try to bring revs up but will not rev over 2500-3000rpm stutters all the way, grey/black smoke from back, Fuel fine, changed fuel filter, checked turbo hoses for delaminating they are also fine, air filter ok...

simply bolts on no mods as long as you have the backing bar as well, as they are different between models

fill spray bottle with soapy solution, and spray onto airbag whilst inflated, other than that get ecu reset by someone with nanocom, lot cheaper than dealer. i can help i am in glasgow

needs a session on aotologic or nanocom . need to tell body control unit that electric seats are fitted so it can energise relay been there done it

dead easy to do, straight forward replacement, i am in glasgow if you need a hand
