i think im gonna have to bite the bullit and send off my bcem and ecu buy my only concern is what if its not the bcem and something to do with the it not recognising the unlock sequence these fu****g rangies.

i traced the wire from the latch and tested it at different points using a multimeter set on continuity on mine its a green wire and a white wire then after the connector it changes to a blue wire with red stripe hope this helps

ok so ive tested drivers door for continuity from open to close and theres a beep checked from lock plug to outstation and theres power so why isnt the car recognising the unlock turns on the eka procedure im stumped now thought it was micro switches obviously not

ive checked both white plugs drivers side and passenger side and all the becm wires seem clean and water damage free i had both seats out earlier this week and checked them for damage

right so ive just entered the four turns to the left before i start the eka procedure and every time i returned the indicators flashed once but no matter hnow many times i try the right turn nothung flashes do you think the unlock microswitch is kaput

so im guessing then as mine only flashes on the first sequence my locks not sending the signal to the bcem

everytime i turn the key for the eka procedure should there be a indicator flash or a beep or something to tell me im doing the eka correct ???

i think it was on range rovers net,it explained how some fella was trying to enter his eka and nothing no sounds no flashes nothing so someone told him your sirens not connected so he connected it after numerous days of trying and shazam first time, i hope thats not why mine wont accept the eka...

hi people ive just read a post which says you have to have your siren connected for the eka code to work is this correct ???

cheers mozz shame i cant get it running... so glad i didnt smash the lock as all it needed was stripping and cleaning dont suppose anyone on here as a passenger door striker for sale do they?

Yes think so but it's finding someone to hire or pay them to come look at it with diagnostic

Passenger door working now cut the striker and stripped the latch all working fine now but still won't start

right ive taken the undertray off and looked at the obd and everything seems normal checked the plugs behind the plastic in footwell they seem fine too wires seem ok is there anywhere else i need to check ?
