    Coil Conversion

strange though that most of the general at2 tyres have the eu standard s mark which denotes a pass for noise. i think they just lasted too long as the new general at has a wear index at least 100 points lower than the at2, so will wear out faster. you can call me a cynic if you like :D

whoever thinks a p38dse cant pull think again

thereby overloading the trailer by about 1 ton, the maximum permissable load on over run brakes is 3500kg,that includes the unladen weight of the trailer, not only illegal but absolutely no regard for other road users safety. also compromising the towing vehicles braking system.

    Changing brake lines

just done this very job . on the ramp. what a pig of a job. most of the retaining clips will break, the route taken by the old steel pipes is difficult to get to , especially where they go between the body and chassis across the vehicle at the rear above the axle. the air tank will need removing...

Putting A/T tyres on P38, where should the better tyres go front or rear?

the current industry practice is to fit the best tyres to the rear of the vehicle . the most worn tyres are more likely to lose grip when cornering hard, on the front this will manifest itself as under steer. you can corect this by turning the steering more. if the back loses grip in a corner...
