hi dirty i had simular problem missing hard on fuel and very lumpy between 50 -60 i had it pluged in to computer and couldnt find a problem but was told on this site to check fuel pressure regulator for leaks changed this and it runs like a dream now,hope this helps

have anybody had this trouble my td5 90 misses ,lacks power and drinks juice , have replaced the usual injector harness and cleaneed the ecu connector many times, the man at the garage says that it is showing fault code 57 and thinks that its the pump and would cost £1000 to fix it , im hoping...

the garage told me today that its code 57, fuel pump drive open load fault has anybody had this problem

thanks andy i will try that, shifty i have changes the diesel filter, and checked that its not taking air, it runs fine until you put it under presure then it starts missing and wont excelerate, it struggles to hit 60 and thats revving it to the last ,also its only doing about 20 to the gallon...

my 2001 90 td5 85 k on the clock was running rough, so as you do i checked the injector loom and it was wet , i replaced it and checked the ecu until at last there was no more oil , i then changed the oil and filters sorted the egr valve but it is lacking in power and struggles to hit 60-70 mph...

if i do find somebody that did upgrade ther matrix and i decide to upgrade i will let you know what its like lol
