After a bit of muddy offroading the starter motor started to perform badly and was struggling more and more. Searched the forum and learned to take the motor and solenoid out and clean both with petrol, which I did (or was it the motor only ?) As said when I took it out the motor worked...

Thanks guys, thanks for the replies. I'd done the same google-and landyzone searches and came across the same results. True, I said copper, but it is probably brass. :speakenglish: But I am searching for the facts, really. I know I can always get LandRover parts and renew what I got...

    V8i fuel filter connection

Thanks Noisy, Cut the flex on the car on one site and screwed the old filter off, new filter on and used 1 inch stainless tube and 2 Jubilee clips to fit the other side. Was gentle on the fuel line, but after fitting and testing there was a small leak on the rear side. A little drop keeps...

Your'e right guys, Its just a matter of unscrewing and refitting, in a normal case. But mine has not been changed for a long time, and the nuts are stuck a bit. I can't get them off. Sprayed lots of WD40, still waiting. My filter is supplied with 2 bits of flex hose that connect on...

3.5 ltr V8 fuel pump trouble (91 Disco)

A month later and I got it sorted now. To clarify we are talking about a V8 injection here, which I assumed was standard, but appearantly it is not. And because it would sometimes run, I wanted to analyse it before starting to take everything apart. Well finally I heard a relay clicking...
